As a Registered Nurse in the Psychiatry General department, you'll play a crucial role in delivering patient care in a primary nursing context. You are expected to uphold nursing standards as set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and apply your skills in mental health assessments and collaborative teamwork. Two years of mental health experience are essential.

• Utilize nursing process for patient care
• Keep comprehensive nursing records
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team
• Conduct effective mental health assessments
• Maintain reflective practice standards

• BScN Degree required
• Minimum 2 years in inpatient mental health
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Proven ability to manage aggressive behaviors
