Join the Medical Withdrawal Service as a part time Registered Practical Nurse. Support adult clients with substance use and complex medical conditions through compassionate, evidence‑based care.
This position focuses on client assessment and medication administration to stabilize complex needs and promote recovery. RPNs are vital team members dedicated to harm reduction and measurement‑based care. You will engage in continuous assessments, monitor physiological stability, and provide support using motivational interviewing techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct standardized assessments for client monitoring
- Administer medications safely via IV and wound care
- Support clients in goal setting and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team on client care
- Participate in evidence‑based pharmacological protocols
- Current Registered Practical Nurse license
- Experience with substance use and mental health clients
- Knowledge of harm reduction principles
- Excellent communication and motivational interviewing skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
