Become a Registered Nurse specializing in Palliative Care at Fraser Health in Recent Westminster, B.C. This casual role emphasizes client-centered care and professional nursing leadership.
Fraser Health is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to enhance hospice care. In this position, you will manage client activities through clinical consultations and mentor staff members. Engage professionally with interdisciplinary teams to uphold current nursing education and evidence-based practices that enhance care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support nursing teams with clinical assessments and consultations
• Coach staff on therapeutic communication with clients
• Regularly review and update individual care plans
• Facilitate educational programs in hospice practices
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
• Minimum three years of clinical experience, with leadership
• Familiar with hospice and palliative practices
• Access to a vehicle for work-related travel
• Completion of relevant CNA certificate preferred
