Registered Nurse - Palliative Care Team

Provide compassionate nursing care as a Registered Nurse with the WRHA Palliative Care Program in various community settings. This role emphasizes community engagement, independent nursing services, and team leadership.
As a Registered Nurse under the WRHA Palliative Care Program, you will address complex health needs while ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice. Your expertise in palliative care, critical thinking, and collaboration with healthcare teams will be essential for coordinating client care and facilitating discharge processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver independent nursing services in diverse settings

• Administer prescribed treatments to clients

• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members

• Facilitate smooth client care transitions and discharges

• Maintain accurate documentation and client records
Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

• CPR certification required per employer policy

• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license

• Community or palliative care experience preferred
