As a Registered Nurse at Villa Forum, you'll implement critical nursing practices while overseeing the activities of Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers.
Your role includes liaising with physicians, coordinating services for residents, and documenting significant health changes to uphold standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care policies and collaborate with care directors
• Liaise with healthcare team and notify changes in resident status
• Supervise nursing staff and lead shift reports
• Review and process physician orders promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to procedures
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and nursing practices
• Registration in good standing with provincial nursing registry
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
