Join the Acute Medicine team as a Registered Nurse specializing in geriatric care within the CTU Medicine F5 program. Provide leadership and compassionate care to patients with multi-system chronic illnesses.
As a key member of a dedicated healthcare team, you will coordinate nursing care for patients facing complex medical conditions. Your role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring evidence-based practices in patient care delivery. You are expected to demonstrate robust leadership, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills while supporting both patients and their families in a compassionate manner.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate nursing care for multi-system medical conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and community agencies
- Improve patient health through evidence-based practices
- Demonstrate leadership in patient care initiatives
- Manage the unique needs of geriatric patients
- Current RN registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Experience in acute or geriatric care
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
