Support women's recovery journeys as a Registered Practical Nurse at The Jean Tweed Centre in Toronto. Provide essential care in withdrawal management tailored to individual needs.
This casual nursing position emphasizes comprehensive assessments, custom care plans, and critical education on substance use and mental health. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will ensure high-quality client care through effective collaboration and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and address client care needs effectively
• Implement and modify care plans with clients
• Conduct assessments focused on substance use
• Ensure safe medication management practices
• Participate in therapeutic group and individual interventions
Requirements:
• Current Registered Practical Nurse registration in Ontario
• 2-3 years nursing experience with substance use challenges
• Familiarity with harm reduction and recovery strategies
• Effective communication and computer skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
