As a vital member of the Fraser Health team, you will work alongside Licensed Practical Nurses and interdisciplinary partners to deliver comprehensive nursing care. Your responsibilities will include direct patient care, modifying interventions based on assessments, and fostering a culture of respect and dignity. By leveraging your expertise, you will ensure continuity and consistency in patient care while promoting family involvement in treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate to assess and plan nursing interventions
• Provide wound, dementia, and palliative care
• Document assessments and teaching effectively
• Communicate changes in patient states
• Advocate for patient rights and dignity
Requirements:
• Graduate of approved Nursing program
• Current BCCNM registration as RN/RPN
• One year of gerontological nursing experience
• Current Level 1 First Aid certification
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practice
