General Duty Nurse at Shared Health

Join Shared Health's dedicated team as a General Duty Nurse in Winnipeg. This in-person role focuses on delivering quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
As part of the GD3 Trauma/Acute department at Health Sciences Centre, you will take the lead in administering care and coordinating with healthcare professionals starting July 3, 2026. The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of nursing practices and be capable of working efficiently under pressure while meeting the needs of diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients with unpredictable health conditions

• Administer treatments in compliance with nursing policies

• Coordinate with team members for comprehensive patient care

• Participate in patient education and discharge processes

• Maintain a safe and effective work environment
Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with active CRNM registration

• Surgical experience preferred

• Knowledge of ethical nursing standards

• CPR and training requirements fulfilled

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
