Position: Nurse Practitioner for Community Health
Elevate your nursing career with Nor West Co-op Community Health as a Nurse Practitioner. This part-time role focuses on delivering quality care within the Inkster/Seven Oaks community.

In this permanent position, you'll apply advanced nursing theories while providing episodic care at the Walk-In Connected Care Clinic. With at least five years of recent nursing experience, you will autonomously order tests, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote health and implement prevention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced nursing theories to patient care

• Autonomously order tests and prescribe medications

• Implement health promotion strategies for patients

• Collaborate with team members on care plans

• Provide education and problem-solving support to patients

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience

• Master's Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner focus

• Active CRNM registration with extended practice competencies

• Strong communication and advocacy skills

• Current CPR certification
