Position: Full-Time Registered Nurse Float Pool

The Registered Nurse (Float Pool) position is vital for delivering direct patient care within Owen Sound's Brightshores Health System. You'll adapt to dynamic clinical environments and manage responsibilities across multiple units. Your expertise will guide the assessment, treatment, and supportive care of patients to enhance their health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in assigned hospital units

• Assess patient health and implement treatment plans

• Provide IV medications and central line management

• Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and standards

• Support nursing team with patient transitions and changes

Requirements:

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience

• Physical Assessment course completion

• Competence in ECG Interpretation and venipunctures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
