In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, assisting patients with dialysis, dementia, and oncology needs. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide total nursing care and personal assistance to patients
• Assess and respond to diverse medical needs effectively
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for patient treatment
• Implement Patient-Focused Care philosophies during shifts
• Communicate efficiently with patients and their families
Requirements:
• Current Ontario Registration and B.C.L.S. certification
• Preferred experience in palliative and oncology care
• Essential conflict resolution and communication skills
• Strong physical assessment and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with airway management and central venous catheters
Deliver skilled nursing and specialized care at Sunnybrook's dedicated Veterans Centre.
