Registered Nurse at Health Sciences Centre

Provide expert nursing care at Winnipeg's Health Sciences Centre as a Registered Nurse in the PACU/MS3 Day Surgery unit. Engage with complex patient needs and ensure quality care every shift.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. This role requires two years of acute care experience, including PACU or critical care experience being preferred. You'll perform nursing services, manage treatment delivery, and play a leadership role in coordinating care and discharges for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing services to patients

• Administer prescribed medical treatments accurately

• Coordinate patient care and discharge processes

• Lead within the health care team to enhance patient outcomes

• Engage in continuous professional development activities

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program

• Two years of acute care medical/surgical experience

• Completion of recognized Adult Critical Care or PACU Course

• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

• Current Basic Life Support certification required
