Deliver compassionate patient care as a Registered Nurse in Ontario. This part-time role offers opportunities to assess patient needs and collaborate on effective care plans.
In your role as a Registered Nurse, you will ensure that patient care aligns with nursing standards and physician directives. You will assist in evaluating and implementing care plans, taking responsibility for supervising nursing staff on the unit. Monitoring performance and conducting appraisals will be essential duties to maintain patient standards. Moreover, you'll guide nursing operations during the director's absence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care adhering to established principles
• Assist in evaluating resident/patient care plans
• Oversee and mentor nursing staff performance
• Monitor and report staff issues to Director of Care
• Direct department activities when the Director is absent
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in community or long-term care settings
• Strong team and individual task prioritization skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Creative problem-solving capabilities
