This role requires a nurse with at least two years of current, relevant clinical experience, preferably in recovery rooms. You'll be integral in ensuring safe patient transitions post-surgery, leveraging your critical thinking and communication skills. The ideal candidate will respond effectively to the dynamic needs of surgery patients in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Work closely with doctors and healthcare professionals
• Ensure completion of caring documentation practices
• Prioritize patients based on immediate healthcare needs
Requirements:
• Relevant clinical nursing experience, minimum two years
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• CPR certification required
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
