Enhance urgent healthcare delivery at Aberdeen Health Village as an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner. This role prioritizes independent clinical assessments and urgent treatment without appointments.
Aberdeen Health Village is recruiting for a Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Out of Hours Urgent Care team. You’ll use your experience to provide same-day access to urgent medical care while working autonomously. Focus on high-quality care and teamwork to improve patient outcomes through our innovative Walk-In Service model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and diagnose urgent medical conditions
• Provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership
• Drive service improvement initiatives and education
• Engage in service audits to enhance care quality
Requirements:
• Must be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration
• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification required
• Demonstrated independent prescribing abilities
• Relevant experience in urgent or primary care
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings
Contribute to transforming urgent care services at GMED.
