Registered Practical Nurse - Palliative Care

You'll be part of an interprofessional caregiving team dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients in the palliative stage. Your responsibilities will include assessing needs and managing symptoms effectively, all while remaining aligned with Sunnybrook's commitment to compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide total care for palliative care patients
• Collaborate within an interprofessional team
• Evaluate patient conditions using assessment skills
• Adhere to principles of Person Centred Care
• Implement effective pain and symptom management techniques
Requirements:
• Must be registered with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Hold current B.C.L.S certification and RPN diploma
• Required experience in hospice palliative care
• Preferred familiarity with Canadian palliative care standards
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
