Operating Room Nurse at Misericordia

Become an essential part of the surgery team at Misericordia Health Centre in Winnipeg as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This in-person role focuses on complex patient care during day surgery procedures.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with current perioperative nursing experience to work in our fast-paced OR setting. You will provide independent nursing services, administer prescribed treatments, and facilitate effective patient care and discharge processes. With a commitment to high standards of nursing practice, you'll play a pivotal role in our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing services for surgical patients

• Administer prescribed medical treatments and care

• Coordinate patient care and discharge plans

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program

• Current perioperative nursing experience preferred

• Completion of AORN Periop 101 or equivalent required

• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
