In your role at Villa Forum, you will provide skilled nursing care and supervision to Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers while coordinating with the entire healthcare team. You will be responsible for documenting health changes, implementing care policies, and ensuring effective communication around resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and guide nursing staff providing resident care
• Coordinate nursing services and liaise with healthcare partners
• Manage significant changes in resident health status
• Lead shift reports and maintain thorough documentation
• Administer prescribed medications to residents
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Valid registration with the provincial nursing registry
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Comprehensive understanding of nursing regulations
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
