Become a Research Nurse in the Clinical Trials Unit at Cancer Care Manitoba, where you’ll play a critical role in oncology research. Help identify patient eligibility and manage care throughout trials.
In this permanent position, you will oversee the consenting process and ensure compliance with the applicable clinical regulations. Your responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, educating patients and families about trials, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality care. You will also take part in recruiting study candidates and coordinating the collection of samples required by the studies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clinical trial eligibility for patients
• Document and manage informed consent processes
• Facilitate patient and family education on studies
• Collaborate with care teams for patient monitoring
• Assist in collecting study-related specimens
Requirements:
• Current membership with CRNM
• Minimum 3 years of experience in oncology
• Certification in CPR required
• Proficient in computer applications
• Able to work legally in Canada
