In this position, you will apply your minimum two years of GI Surgery/Medicine nursing experience within Shared Health. Familiarity with post-operative care and GI Endoscopy is preferred, emphasizing your vital role in the recovery process and patient education. You will be pivotal in providing high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for endoscopy procedures
• Conduct post-operative assessments and patient education
• Document patient progress accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in ongoing training and development
Requirements:
• Two years of relevant nursing experience
• Graduation from a recognized nursing program
• Active CPR certification as per employer standards
• Registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• Understanding of nursing regulations and standards
