As a Registered Nurse reporting directly to the Manager of Health Services, you'll provide essential nursing services to patients with complex needs. This role emphasizes collaboration with health professionals, ensuring safe patient care and effective discharge planning. Your responsibilities will also include directing nursing staff and healthcare aides, maintaining high standards of nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver independent nursing services to patients/residents
• Administer prescribed medical treatments effectively
• Lead and coordinate health care team efforts
• Monitor delegated care and support nursing staff
• Maintain compliance with health regulations and policies
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved Registered Nursing program
• Current registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• Experience with geriatrics and chronic illness management
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
