Become a key part of the patient care experience as a General Duty Nurse in Shared Health's High Observation Unit in Winnipeg. You'll handle complex patient cases and provide critical nursing services.
As a Registered Nurse, your role emphasizes primary nursing care under the supervision of the Health Services Manager. You will manage patient assessments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and drive successful discharge planning. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and provide nursing care for patients with complex needs
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications
• Supervise and support healthcare team members
• Ensure seamless patient care coordination and discharge
• Adhere to nursing standards of practice and ethics
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Registered Nursing program
• Compliance with CRNM registration requirements
• Certification in CPR according to employer guidelines
• Proficiency with nursing standards and regulations
• Recent, relevant nursing experience is advantageous
