Elevate your nursing career as a Registered Nurse in Substance Use Services. Provide critical support to clients and contribute to their recovery in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
This role focuses on delivering direct nursing care and conducting assessments for individuals battling substance use issues. You will also be involved in managing treatment plans, medications, and responding to emergencies. Engaging with healthcare professionals enhances the quality of care provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct nursing services and assess client conditions
• Administer medications and oversee treatment plan implementation
• Manage emergencies such as overdoses and seizures
• Collaborate with teams and participate in care conferences
• Document clinical records accurately and maintain comprehensive files
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse credential
• Recent experience in an addiction-focused workplace (one year)
• Completed a substance use training or certificate program
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications mandatory
• Preferred:
Valid Driver’s License and vehicle access
