Registered Nurse in Long-Term Care

As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring residents receive exceptional care in compliance with established nursing and administrative standards. You will assess, monitor, and develop care plans while overseeing nursing staff, conducting performance evaluations and offering guidance when the Director of Care is unavailable.
Your role is crucial for maintaining quality care in the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care according to established standards
• Assess and review resident care plans consistently
• Supervise and evaluate nursing and personal care staff
• Conduct performance appraisals and report issues
• Direct nursing department operations when needed
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Relevant experience in community or long-term care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
