Registered Nurse Geriatric Care

Position: Registered Nurse for Geriatric Care
Support geriatric patients as a Registered Nurse on the Acute Medicine team within the CTU Medicine F5 program. Provide leadership and compassionate care for those facing complex multi-system illnesses.

This role places you at the forefront of nursing care coordination for patients with complicated medical conditions. Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that evidence-based practices guide your care delivery. Your leadership, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills will be crucial in supporting patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate nursing care for multi-system medical conditions

• Collaborate with healthcare teams and community agencies

• Improve patient health through evidence-based practices

• Demonstrate leadership in patient care initiatives

• Manage the unique needs of geriatric patients

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with College of Nurses of Ontario

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

• Experience in acute or geriatric care

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
