Position: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
Northern Health is looking for a Nurse Practitioner at the Urgent Primary Care Clinic in Prince George. This role emphasizes providing urgent primary care within a flexible, team-oriented framework.

As an NP, you will focus on same-day care for patients of all ages without being tied to a patient panel. In partnership with patient care assistants and various health professionals, you will utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to document and coordinate patient care. Your contributions will play a key role in quality improvement efforts and ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent primary care to patients of all ages

• Collaborate with healthcare team for effective service

• Document care accurately using EMR

• Get involved in quality enhancement initiatives

• Facilitate referrals and follow-up for continuity of care

Requirements:

• Eligible for BC Nurse Practitioner registration

• Strong experience in primary and urgent care

• Excellent clinical judgment and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and within teams

• Committed to culturally safe care practices
