Position: Nurse Practitioner for Inkster/Seven Oaks
Dive into a vital role as a Nurse Practitioner with Nor West Co-op Community Health. This part-time position focuses on providing quality episodic care in the Inkster/Seven Oaks community.
In this permanent role, you'll join an interdisciplinary team at the Walk-In Connected Care Clinic. Candidates should have a Master's in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner focus and at least five years of recent clinical nursing experience. You'll apply advanced nursing theories, autonomously order tests, and implement health strategies while enhancing patient education and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced nursing theories in patient care

• Order necessary tests and prescribe medications independently

• Implement health promotion and illness prevention strategies

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members

• Offer education and support to patients for better outcomes
Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years clinical nursing experience

• Master's Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner stream focus

• Active CRNM registration with required competencies

• Strong communication and advocacy skills

• Current CPR certification
