Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct risk assessments and identify self-harm factors
• Respond swiftly to patient behaviors using de-escalation techniques
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills effectively
• Engage in continuous professional development
• Collaborate on care assignments with registered nurses
Requirements:
• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• RPN diploma required alongside a current B.C.L.S. Certificate
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification needed
• Experience with psychiatric care highly valued
• Familiarity with CBT and DBT principles preferred
