In this vital role reporting to the Manager of Health Services, you will engage with patients undergoing rehabilitation. The Registered Nurse plays a crucial part in coordinating patient care, supervising support staff, and adhering to the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's vision. Prior experience with geriatrics and complex continuing care is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing services for geriatric residents
• Direct nursing staff and health aides in care delivery
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications
• Collaborate with physicians and health professionals
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved RN educational program
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• Experience in chronic illness and geriatrics
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Ability to perform in demanding healthcare settings
