In this role at Fraser Health, you will be responsible for assessing patients, administering chemotherapy, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure effective care plans. Your work will greatly impact patient recovery and health outcomes in a welcoming and diverse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses using observations
• Administer prescribed intravenous and oral chemotherapy
• Collaborate with families to create individualized care plans
• Ensure coordination of nursing care while delegating tasks
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized School of Nursing
• Hold current BCCNM registration and Chemotherapy Certification
• Possess strong knowledge about chemotherapy drugs and side effects
• Skilled in IV therapy and central line management
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
