Position: Nurse Clinician (N4) - Endocrinology

Position Overview

Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria, as applicable to the position experience, education, patient care and clinical knowledge/skills, leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, quality improvement, teaching skills, research knowledge, professional development and seniority.

Experience

Minimum five (5) years related clinical experience required.

One (l) year educational and clinical diabetes experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Baccalaureate of Nursing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Post-basic course in advanced assessment and nursing skills required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

CRNM registration required.

Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

Certification as a Diabetes Educator (CDE) preferred.
