Position: Nurse Practitioner Role at NorWest Co-op
Elevate community healthcare as a Nurse Practitioner at Nor West Co-op. This part-time position in Walk-In Connected Care focuses on high-quality patient care and health promotion in Inkster/Seven Oaks.

With 0.5 EFT and a daily commitment of 7.75 hours, you will function as a first-line provider within a collaborative primary health care team. Your responsibilities include providing episodic care, ordering diagnostic tests, and implementing strategies to promote wellness. You will also foster your professional development while addressing community health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced nursing and medical theory to patient care

• Prescribe medications and perform minor invasive procedures

• Contribute to knowledge development in nursing practice

• Demonstrate competence in implementing health promotion strategies

• Provide problem solving among healthcare team members

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience required

• Must possess a Masters of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Stream

• Active CRNM registration for extended practice

• Proficient in community resources and service navigation

• Current CPR certification a must
