Your work will be integral to a multi-disciplinary health care team. You will utilize your skills to conduct diagnostic testing, prescribe pharmacologic therapies, and lead health improvement initiatives. The Nurse Practitioner role fosters educational opportunities for colleagues while ensuring quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and order diagnostic tests for patient care

• Lead health initiatives and promote disease prevention

• Provide clinical procedures and pharmacologic therapies

• Collaborate with primary care providers for comprehensive care

• Educate and mentor nursing staff and team members

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing - Nurse Practitioner Stream

• Minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience

• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

• Three years experience with underserved populations

• Must have a valid Manitoba Driver’s License
