Position: Temporary Midwife for Maternity Leave
Location: Steinbach

Pursue a rewarding Midwife role at Bethesda Primary Care Centre, accepting various shifts until February 2028. This temporary position focuses on providing expert maternal care and support.

Seeking a dedicated Midwife to join the Primary Care/Midwifery Services team. This role requires knowledge of midwifery standards, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Flexibility is paramount as you cater to clients' needs while participating in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver midwifery services on a flexible shift schedule

• Ensure adherence to the Midwifery Model of Practice

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members

• Provide culturally sensitive care to diverse communities

• Utilize computer applications for documentation and communication

Requirements:

• Midwifery degree from an accredited program

• Current certifications in BLS and NRP

• Registration eligibility with the College of Midwives of Manitoba

• Class 5 driver’s licence with corresponding auto insurance

• Strong commitment to confidentiality and communication
