Become a Licensed Practical Nurse with Southern Health-Santé Sud in Steinbach, Manitoba. Provide compassionate care in home settings and engage with diverse patient needs.
In this permanent, part-time role (0.5 FTE), you will work directly with clients in Home Care, applying your nursing expertise for their health optimization. You will practice within a people-centered approach and comply with professional standards while maintaining your skills. Flexibility is essential as you'll be working varying shifts across days, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply nursing processes to support client health
• Maintain professional standards and ongoing competency
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Foster collaborative relationships within the care team
• Travel to various regional facilities as needed
Requirements:
• 1-year experience in medical or home care nursing
• Completion of Wound Care Level 1
• Active registration with CLPNM
• BLS certification and valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Strong organizational and communication skills
