Registered Nurse Regional Health

Provide essential nursing services at Deer Lodge Centre, Winnipeg. This position involves direct patient care, treatment administration, and collaboration with health staff in a dynamic environment.

As a Registered Nurse directly reporting to the Manager of Health Services, you will deliver comprehensive nursing services tailored for patients with chronic illnesses and complex needs. Key responsibilities include leading a health care team and coordinating patient care effectively. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, particularly with geriatrics, is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medical treatments and perform patient assessments

• Coordinate patient care and discharge processes efficiently

• Provide leadership and guidance to nurses and support staff

• Collaborate with physicians and health professionals on care plans

• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved Registered Nursing educational program

• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

• Experience in chronic illness and complex continuing care

• Effective communication and critical thinking skills

• Commitment to ethical nursing practices and self-development
