Nursing Assistant at CancerCare Manitoba

Become a vital part of the healthcare team at Cancer Care Manitoba as a Nursing Assistant. This temporary role focuses on patient support, clinical cleanliness, and clerical tasks in Winnipeg.

In this position, you'll report directly to the Unit Manager within the Outpatient Clinic Services Program. You will perform clerical tasks, ensuring patients' comfort while maintaining a clean clinical environment. Basic computer skills and current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification are required to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clerical tasks to support healthcare staff

• Ensure patient comfort and care throughout their visits

• Maintain cleanliness in clinical work areas

• Use personal protective equipment as required

• Assist in lifting and transporting patients and equipment

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Nursing Assistant Course

• Basic computer skills and BCLS certification

• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting

• Satisfactory employment record in healthcare settings

• Must legally work in Canada
