As a Renal Dialysis Nurse, you will execute critical clinical duties, including hemo-dialysis and patient assessments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires a commitment to patient education, teaching renal health strategies, and maintaining comprehensive patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct hemo-dialysis sessions for scheduled patients
• Liaise with various healthcare professionals for patient care
• Educate patients about renal failure prevention strategies
• Perform routine primary care treatments effectively
• Assist in maintaining clinic supplies and policies
Requirements:
• Valid RN/BN registration in Manitoba
• Completion of Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course required
• At least one year of related nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills
