Registered Nurse at Eden Mental Health Centre

Serve patients in the Inpatient Unit at Eden Mental Health Centre as a Registered Nurse. This role emphasizes recovery and stabilizing patients facing mental health challenges.

As a Nurse II, you will support patients transitioning from acute illnesses to a stable state. Your responsibilities include assessing mental status, developing care plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions. Engage in patient education and collaborate with the treatment team to enhance care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' mental status and treatment progress each shift

• Develop nursing care plans in collaboration with the treatment team

• Provide direct nursing care and educate patients

• Document assessments and maintain accurate patient records

• Facilitate therapeutic conversations to build patient rapport

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse

• Strong knowledge of nursing theory and practice

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

• Must perform duties physically and mentally capable

• Completed background checks in good standing
