The University of Manitoba seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time renal care role. Your responsibilities will include hemo-dialysis, conducting health assessments, and providing education to both patients and nursing students. Collaborating with healthcare professionals will be key to improving patient outcomes and community health education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct scheduled hemo-dialysis treatments
• Perform routine assessments and administer care
• Teach nursing students and staff about renal issues
• Interface with healthcare providers and social services
• Organize outreach education for local communities
Requirements:
• RN registration with CRNM, free of restrictions
• Completion of Basic Life Support training
• One to two years of renal nursing experience favored
