Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, candidates should have at least one year of recent acute care experience. Successful completion of an approved nursing program is required, with the Critical Care Nursing Orientation Program to be completed shortly after hiring. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing care for unpredictable health needs

• Administer medical treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Facilitate patient care coordination and discharge planning

• Exhibit leadership within the healthcare team environment

• Adhere to the standards set forth by regulatory bodies

Requirements:

• One year of recent acute care nursing experience

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program

• Completion of the Critical Care Rhythms Course mandatory

• Current registration with CRNM required

• Basic Life Support training at healthcare provider level
