Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient‑centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province‑wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Experience
Minimum three years recent clinical experience in relevant nursing specialty required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred.

Successful completion of a relevant post‑basic program may be required or preferred in a designated area.

Certification/Licensure/Registration
Current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) required.

Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.

Qualifications and Skills
Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

Proficient with computers, software programs, and applications such as Windows and Word Processing.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.

Commitment to care through a family centered nursing approach.

Advanced clinical knowledge in subspecialty.

Commitment to maintaining current knowledge in area of expertise through reviewing literature and attending continuing education in services, workshops and conferences.

Expertise and competence in nursing practice, interviewing, counselling, teaching and group dynamics.

Ability to work independently but collaboratively with patients, families and multidisciplinary team members.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with referring physicians and nurses and community members.

Displays initiative, accountability, good time management, decision‑making ability, leadership and strong organizational skills.

Knowledge and skills in research and quality assurance.

Physical Requirements
Moderate to heavy physical effort required.

May be required to work flexible hours.

Occasional travel to community agencies, patient homes and/or other healthcare institutions.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
