Position: Nursing Role at Lions Housing Centres

In this position, you will report to the Resident Care Manager and deliver comprehensive nursing care through the nursing process. Responsibilities will include medication administration, monitoring patient conditions, and documentation of care activities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality performance and guide Health Care Aides.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe nursing care through assessment and planning

• Maintain detailed documentation within health care records

• Administer treatments and monitor patient status

• Liaise with healthcare professionals when needed

• Participate in quality improvement and audit processes

Requirements:

• Registered with College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba

• Experience in long-term care is advantageous

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Skills in supervising health care aides

• Criminal Records Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check required
