RN Position in Cardiac Surgery Care

This Clinical Practice Nurse position offers the chance to work under the Manager of Health Services, delivering specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Candidates should have one year of CSIU or related nursing experience, as well as the necessary educational background and current CRNM registration. Emphasis is placed on a strong commitment to quality patient care and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care with a focus on complex patient needs

• Administer medical treatments as prescribed

• Lead initiatives within the healthcare team for effective care

• Oversee patient discharge and care coordination

• Participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in surgical or cardiology nursing

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Valid CRNM registration

• Current BLS Level C certification

• Preference for active nursing association participation
