Position: General Duty Nurse (N2) - NICU Role

As part of Shared Health's commitment to patient-centered service in Manitoba, the NICU at Health Sciences Centre is searching for a General Duty Nurse (N2). Successful candidates will demonstrate nursing knowledge in a fast-paced environment while fostering teamwork and engaging with families. An approved nursing education and CPR certification are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments in the NICU

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Provide care according to established best practices

• Maintain comprehensive patient documentation

• Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing circumstances

Requirements:

• Preferred experience of up to 2 years in nursing

• Must be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

• CPR certification at the Health Care Provider Level

• Understanding of ethical nursing practices

• Proven ability to work under physical demands
