As a key member of the healthcare team, you will operate under the guidance of the Manager Health Services to provide professional and efficient nursing care for adults.
Your role involves assessing patients’ health needs, administering treatments, and ensuring smooth transitions to complete care. Candidates with relevant emergency experience will find rewarding challenges in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer professional nursing services to patients in emergency care
• Coordinate effective patient care plans and discharge procedures
• Administer and monitor prescribed medical treatments
• Participate fully in Emergency Nursing Orientation training
• Communicate effectively within the healthcare team
Requirements:
• Graduate of a recognized Registered Nursing education program
• Active registration with Manitoba's College of Registered Nurses
• Prior emergency nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification at the Healthcare Provider level required
• Ability to maintain physical stamina
