Take on an Advanced Nephrology Nurse Practitioner position with the Cree Board of Health, servicing patients in Montreal and neighboring communities through telehealth. You will provide advanced nursing care and contribute to nephrology education and research efforts.
In this critical role, you will have a master's degree in nursing along with a specialist certificate in Adult Care/Nephrology. Collaborating with a renal team, you will help manage kidney health for patients with complex conditions. Participation in teaching programs for families and nursing students is a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver advanced nursing services to nephrology patients
• Help patients understand kidney disease and dialysis
• Work alongside nephrology specialists for care excellence
• Engage in training and educational programs
• Conduct research in nephrology nursing practices
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in nursing essential
• Specialist certification in nephrology required
• OIIQ membership needed
• At least one year in nephrology preferred
• English proficiency required;
Cree or French preferred
