Research Nurse in Clinical Trials Unit

Become part of the Cancer Care Manitoba team as a Research Nurse in the Clinical Trials Unit based in Winnipeg. This role engages you in patient care, screenings, and educational support in clinical trials.

As a permanent Research Nurse, you will work closely with the Patient Services Manager to ensure compliance with nursing standards and clinical trial processes. You will assist in monitoring both adult and pediatric patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care in research settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen patients for eligibility in clinical trials and track consent

• Monitor and manage treatment plans for trial participants

• Participate in patient education and support processes

• Assist in the recruitment and specimen collection for studies

• Foster a culture of research and quality patient engagements

Requirements:

• Registration with CRNM is mandatory

• Three years of oncology experience required

• CPR certified per CCMB guidelines

• Proficient in using MS Office software

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
