RN Immunization Nurse

Position: RN Immunization Nurse Role
Serve your community as an RN Immunization Nurse with the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority, specializing in vaccine administration and promoting health equity. This part-time position requires flexibility in hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.

As part of the regional public health team, you'll collaborate closely with health care professionals to deliver essential vaccines. The role emphasizes cultural safety and effectiveness, supporting the mission and values of the health authority while ensuring that public health records are meticulously maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer vaccines such as Influenza and Covid-19

• Collaborate with the Immunization Coordinator and health staff

• Document vaccination information accurately in electronic records

• Participate in community outreach for immunization education

• Ensure compliance with health authority policies

Requirements:

• Active CRNM registration and two years nursing experience

• Completion of Immunization Competence Education Program

• Preferred experience with vaccines and injections

• Valid Manitoba driver’s license

• Ability to handle diverse patient interactions
